I just got back from New Orleans last week, my first visit, and I loved it! The french quarter is full of the most adorable old houses, boutiques, antique shops, galleries, and bangin' food. We were there for Mardi Gras so we got to see the costumes on Bourbon St and the parades going down Canal. Being back at work was kind of a bummer after mornings of live jazz and beignets... If you have never been, I highly recommend a visit, especially for the artist-types.Today's list: thrifted green velvet full length dress, minkpink drapy cardi, vintage green belt (my mom's), nine west shoes, toms sunglasses, and skull necklace purchased at an awesome eco-friendly/local artisan store on Magazine in Nola.
