fairy dust

I've been feeling a little under the weather, and it's gotten too cold for my liking so to boost my spirits I brought out my favorite bag of all time. Do you ever do that? wear your favorite color or favorite shoes to brighten up the day when you're feeling down? This favorite bag is my cipria fairy Prada bag. The fairy bags feature the art of illustrator James Jean, you can see more of his work here . Being that I went to art school and majored in design and illustration I have so much respect for Prada realizing the mass appeal of truly beautiful wearable art. Fairy bags are one of the most sought after Prada lines since they sold out years ago. Hopefully one day they try this again, maybe with a street artist like Banksy... Enough about the bag, I'm also wearing banana republic sweater, crocheted bib shirt, skirt, and tights; LaRok vest; Chloe sunglasses; and vintage purple cowboy boots from ebay. Oh and please check out Banksy's stencil street art and fine art genius here.

Am I the only one who loves chloe?!

credit: style.com

I haven't seen many reviews of the 2010ss RTW Chloe line. Most are still wrapped up the extravagance of Alexander McQueen's elephant shoes and Chanel's barnyard fashion show. I personally love the imagination of both but as far as my taste goes, Chloe hit the right note. A mix of slouchy men's suits and leather sandals with frilly sheer white dresses seems so perfectly 2010. In the midst of a recession some might argue that we need an escape through fantastical fashion but I think what we really need we need a mix of comfortable classic clothes that will last through all seasons. Well done Hannah MacGibbon.

sugar and spice

Sugar and Spice
are both very nice
but purple and pink
are better I think
that's what little girls are made of...
My favorite colors have expanded a ton since I was 5 and purple and pink were the best things ever. But sometimes you need a girly day with flowers, paisley, and pink.
I'm wearing banana republic jersey purple dress, linen cream military styled long cardigan, and scarf; frye boots; chloe shades; and balenciaga framboise brief GCH bag; vintage belt with random flower pin attached (inspired the by the ss10 rochas show).

vintage obsession

I adore vintage and vintage inspired clothing. This dress is by only hearts but with a vintage red braided belt looks like it could have come out of the 50s. I am also wearing a creamy white lace blazer by zara, vintage givenchy clutch, balenciaga pumps, chloe aviator styled plastic sunglasses and to top it off, urban decay red lipstick.
