Just go ahead, let your hair down

I don't know what was wrong with traffic this morning. I live in an area notorious for heavy traffic so generally I'm used to it. Today though, it was more like "OMG, the sun is shining lets all go 20 under the limit". I had to listen to Corinne Bailey Rae to keep my road rage to a minimum. You know when a song feels like it's speaking to you no matter what is going on in your life? This is one of those songs for me.

darling outfit

Two elderly ladies passed by me and my friend as we were taking pictures today, when one said "darling outfit". Totally made my day. Oh and these boots are my answer to uggs. I don't like them and I never will. I think there's a reason Ugg rhymes with fug. So these London Fog boots are the perfect compromise of furry warm insulation on the inside and actually cute (and waterproof) on the outside. Buy them on piperlime.com. The leggings streak continues with another pair of marc by marc jacobs leggings. They are particularly thick and stretchy compared to other brands, not as soft as dvf but definitely warmer.

Goldie-boots

For the record, I know I was going to a driving range, but I couldn't resist wearing my new-to-me vintage faux fur coat that just arrived. The rest of the outfit was just to coordinate with the coat and the wonderful military style gold metal buttons...

Sunshine

I love my new chloe paraty! It can be worn on the arm, shoulder, or messenger style and fits EVERYTHING. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
