New Year's Resolutions

I'm ready to finally put my resolutions in writing:

1. Stop shopping, I have a full closet and I know I can be more creative with all that I have without buying more (plus I need to save up to travel)

2. Draw more, my degree is in illustration and design but the former has fallen to the wayside. I must keep it up.

On that note: here's a quick sketch from my lunch break. I envisioned a superhero, leathery corset with a pair of baggy wide soft pants for contrast and a tiny pouch bag.

the beginning

My very first post, crazy. Art, fashion, and design are so much a part of my life, I finally decided to share. Here is a sketch of mine for a dramatic, slightly over the top, silk crepe and satin couture gown. Soon to follow, my own personal style, items I would kill to own, inspirations, and more illustrations... Now if only I knew code, I would be busy creating a whole new header, using helvetica and baskerville for my fonts and, well, designing the hell out of this blog page...
