This is a jack bb dakota hooded mini trench, a diy slashed up white tank from express, black tank, bcbg jean cutoffs and theory sandals. My other puppy wanted to be in the photo this time, he's a yorkie-chihuahua mix, and the paintings in the background are all by me.
I adore vintage and vintage inspired clothing. This dress is by only hearts but with a vintage red braided belt looks like it could have come out of the 50s. I am also wearing a creamy white lace blazer by zara, vintage givenchy clutch, balenciaga pumps, chloe aviator styled plastic sunglasses and to top it off, urban decay red lipstick.

It's kind of a dreary day outside and appropriately I am wearing all black today. I also woke up with a headache, but that's neither here nor there. I'm wearing a blouse from people's market which has the cutest keyhole back, tiny covered buttons and an eclectic emo kitty print. The high waisted capris are cheap monday, shoes are joie, bal bag, and chanel shades.

I love the antique feel of the lace on this alice and olivia dress. It's cream with woven gold threads, a thin silk lining and sweet little ruffles. I ordered it one size bigger to make sure it hung straight and there were no curves showing so it would appear even more vintage. I'm also wearing my fav. larok vest from a couple days ago--fav. until the next two arrive from shopbop.com anyways. The scarf is banana republic, shoes are stuart weitzman (and btw they could not be more comfortable, since there are so many straps they all hug your foot equally so no pressure or blisters!), shades are prada, and bag is my brand new 09 lilac balenciaga! I'm so excited to have gotten this limited edition shade of purple, it is divine!

At my friends after-wedding party, I ending up trying on my friend Will's (the host) clothes, one being his awesomely worn in mark nason studded/patched loafers, and the other his vintage school boy blazer (bought in Hamburg if I remember correctly). Underneath I'm wearing a sweater dress and kova & t lace leggings. Now if only I could find that blazer in my size...

my newest addiction is vests. I had just gotten a new knit one, and now this new one is larok, peasant shirt is angie, skirt is no name, chloe bag and shades, and shoes are joie. I just ordered a beaded vest and a suede fringed one now I can't wait for them to arrive! I hope you can see, but this shirt has the most lovely rose cutouts on the sleeves and back, just barely see through and a tight row of looped buttons.

Art Whino gallery in National Harbor (Prince Georges County, MD) has the most amazing street art exhibit called heavy hitters, all the graffiti, shoes, and pop surrealistic art is from that exhibit. They even had one of the artists tag the wall for the show (that's me studying the illustrations). On the other side, an equally interesting exhibit, called Mortal Plush has plus sculptures all showing varying emotions. If you're in the DC area, stop by www.artwhino.com
