I plan on borrowing both at some point :) Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!

Today's list: the boyfriend- levis jeans, ralph lauren shirt, branded lion vest, and h&m beanie. me- express diy slashed gray jeans, gap tee, member's only jacket, rockport boots, and my new-to-me 04 seafoam pewter hw balenciaga first.

verticality

My outfit today was based on vertical lines, the stronger lines in the shirt, the ribbing in the skirt, the stripes in my tights, and the fringe on my bag. I also wanted to mix menswear, shiny glam, and casual.

Today's list: my boyfriend's shirt, skirt (I can't remember from where), express tights, loeffler randall shoes, aridza bross bag, prada shades, and vintage red suede belt that was once my mom's

oh whata day

It's cold and raining. I just really want a hot cocoa and peppermint schnapps, sit at home with my honey and puppies and watch a movie... Speaking of which, I just saw Bottle Shock and highly recommend it. It about the famous blind wine tasting in France that opened up the world to American wine; now considered a historical event and the American Napa Valley bottle that won over the French-in France- is now in the Smithsonian.

Today's list: People's Market batwing-cowl neck sweater, Banana Republic purple puff sleeve coat, Space Girls pants, Nine West shoes, Aridza Bross fringe bag, and Prada shades

Christian Louboutin!!!!!!!

Monsieur Louboutin, who art in Paris, hallowed be thy name.....
So Saturday was an epic failure, making it to the store literally less than 5 minutes after they cut off the line for signatures. That's what I get for a crazy Friday night I guess... To make the best of it, my best friend and I got bunches of pics of the man himself and when he left, we took pics in front of the signing "set" with the epic's signature logo. Also took some in front of some Fendi's so you could actually see what I'm wearing. In some ways, I'm actually kind of glad I don't have a signed pair, I had been saving my red ones for the perfect occasion and I know if they were signed I could never ever ever ever wear them. In fact, they would probably be up on my mantle. I must say, he was friendly to all his fans waiting for him but calm, reserved, and ever gracious hanging around almost 2 hours after he was scheduled to leave to complete the line (even though he was visibly tired).

Today's list: Topshop illustrated people wolf shirt dress, banana republic military detailed long cardi, express plaid tights, chanel bag, D&G chain necklace and of course Christian Louboutin shoes

80s baby

So I ended up going with 80s for the decades party. Only trouble was I have so many random 80s and 80s inspired items it was hard to choose. I have to mention that I am so excited right now, in just a couple hours I am going to my local NM where Christian Louboutin is making an appearance! I am hoping to get a pair of my Cl's signed. Wish me luck!!!!!

Today's list: Gypsy 05 leggings, nine west pumps, vintage bag (I've had since I was a child), sunglasses probably from Claire's I've had since high school, Members Only jacket, Insight long top

TGIF

I am so happy it's friday. I had a couple days off work sick this week and I'm just glad it's over and I'm starting to feel better. Tonight is a decades party and I still haven't decided which decade to dress for, thinking probably 80's since I haven't worn my Members Only jacket yet and I got it months ago but I have things in my closet from the 50's forward so we'll see. This jacket was an unbelievable thrift store find, it's Marc Jacobs and I got it for $6, seriously and the bag was brought back from South America by my best friend's grandparents. The boots might have to come out again for the party tonight, they were a vintage find on ebay. Word to the wise though, they had a polyurethane sole and as soon as I put them on they cracked. It cost me $60 to get them completely resoled. When buying vintage shoes on ebay, try to make sure they have leather soles!

Today's list: Marc Jacobs jacket, Banana Republic embroidered blouse, Seven for all Mankind purple velvet pants, vintage gold boots from ebay, random bag, Chloe sunglasses, elephant necklace by elizabeth cole

ketchup, mustard, and relish

It was actually nice outside today! Which was a really good thing since someone burnt popcorn in my office and set off the fire alarm, so we were all stuck outside till all was clear. This Da-nang dress is the most comfy summer dress ever, it has subtle embroidered flowers with clear beading and a button up back. These shoes were a completely random purchase, I went to Blockbuster and it was closed so I went to Payless shoes next door for the first time since college. I found these awesome environmentally friendly short lace-up sneakery things and had to have them. I might have to go in there more often!

Today's list:
Da-nang black beaded and embroidered flower dress, Banana Republic green zebra cardigan, 07 tomato chevre Balenciaga day bag, Urban Outfitters yellow tights, zoe&zac (payless green line) shoes, Chloe sunglasses
