stuck in a frenzy

My friend and I found this ridiculous gated door in an alley a while back and decided to use it today (which was great since I was busy and in a frenzy all day and didn't have any time to look for other interesting backgrounds. So here is, today's outfit is a vintage dress that I put gold and silver studs around the neck of, banana republic linen sweater, theory sandals, ysl bag (AGAIN), proenza schouler shades, and random belt I used to wear all the time in high school, I hope to wear my entire collection of low slung hip level belts again now that I'm getting a little bored with the high waisted huge belts and even some of my skinny ones.

Today I'm wearing a linen men's shirt: thrifted (with the best pockets and side slits), random skirt, banana republic shoes, ysl bag (same as yesterday), ysl shades, vintage belt, and thrifted driving gloves that I cut the fingers off of, and then decorated with prismacolor marker. The design is meant to reference henna designs worn on the hands in India.

its fall :(

I HATE to see summer go. there are already leaves on the ground. I'm not ready for fall! today I broke out the fall colors which are pretty even though I detest the gradual decline in temperature. I'm wearing: random lace top, thrifted rust jumper, 7 for all mankind purple velvet pants, banana republic shoes which you can't see in this outfit-but I put spikes through the sling backs, ysl nadja (tom ford era) bag, and proenza schouler shades.

It's my birthday!!!!

I took the week off work, and off blogging, for my birthday. here, finally, is my birthday outfit. I bought this alice and olivia black lace babydoll dress specifically for the occasion, ripped holes in my leopard print tights, wore my vintage (my mom's) white bag I DIY studded and spiked, a headband that is really a rose choker I glued onto a head band, pink chanel lipstick, and steve madden booties. It was a great laid back evening!

I went out for my best friend's b-day and I finally switched from the fringe bag to a classic chanel. I was wearing tons of fringe already and knew that would be such overkill as much as I'd like to wear the aridza bross EVERYWHERE. The louboutins I bought specifically to match the diamond quilted pattern of chanel bags. My top is Foley and Corinna and worn backwards because the v-neck is sooooo deep I just don't feel comfortable showing that much skin. The jeans are express, cardigan is banana republic, and as I said bag is chanel and shoes are louboutins.

gloomy friday

Today is such a gloomy rainy day. Luckily my friends took me out for an early birthday lunch. man i love greek food! And they waited patiently while i went thrift shopping... some great finds today like a Marc Jacobs jacket, and an early 60s tweed coat!!!!!

Today I'm wearing space girls shiny pants from high school (that I almost donated a couple years ago--glad I didn't I love the shiny faux leather look they have), my boyfriend's h & m plaid shirt, nine west gray two toned mary janes, banana republic military sweater, and again my aridza bross bag.  yay for fridays!

Was in the mood for shoulder pads, and killer pointy pumps today.  Now if only the blazer was 2 sizes bigger and less fitted like a vintage 80s blazer I would love it tons more. The blazer is XOXO from my first steps into professional work wear, velvet dress is from the limited circa 1997 lol, heels from nine west, gypsy 05 leggings from chickdowntown.com (love this site!), shades are prada, and bag is the aridza bross I'm currently obsessed with.
